Introduction
Although Mintegral has long been one of the largest In-App traffic sources, there is still not much detailed and up-to-date information available on how to launch ads on the platform. Most materials only give a basic overview of Mintegral, while the real details of campaign setup, integration, tracking, and launch preparation often remain behind the scenes.

At the same time, Mintegral continues to grow actively and is becoming an additional source of volume for many teams, especially when their main traffic sources start hitting scaling limits or when they need to diversify media buying.
In this guide, we have put together a step-by-step checklist for launching ads in Mintegral Ads — from logging into the account and adding an app to setting up tracking, analytics, and key recommendations that can help avoid common mistakes at the start.

We will go through the full process step by step:
— account login and access setup;
— adding an app;
— connecting events and postbacks;
— uploading creatives;
— creating an ad campaign;
— setting up tracking links;
— analytics and optimization;
— practical launch recommendations.

If you are just starting to work with Mintegral or want to structure your campaign launch process, this guide will help you go through the setup with less wasted time and budget.
Logging in to the Mintegral ad account
The first step is to log in to your Mintegral ad account.
To do this, go to Mintegral Ads Login. Then enter the login and password provided to you in the corresponding fields and click Login.
Adding an app
Before creating an ad campaign, you need to add your app to the Mintegral account.

To do this, open User Acquisition in the left-hand menu, then go to the Campaign List tab. After that, click the green Create Campaign button on the right side of the screen.
At the next step, you need to select the promoted object type — Promote Type.

Mintegral offers two options:
— Website — if you plan to promote a website or landing page;
— App — if your ads will lead to a mobile app.

In this guide, we are covering the launch of mobile app advertising, so select App, continue with the campaign setup, and add the link to your app.
Next, enter the campaign name and budget — the minimum amount is $500.

If needed, you can also change the app icon.
Mintegral pulls the main app information automatically. You only need to specify the app size and version, then fill in the remaining fields and click Create Campaign.
Once created, all added apps will appear as a list in the Campaign List tab, where you can manage them and use them to launch advertising campaigns.
Adding events
For most In-App launches, we recommend using Target CPE or tCPE campaigns. This type of offer allows you to optimize not for installs, but for a selected in-app event — for example, registration, deposit, or purchase.

You can also set the desired event cost, and Mintegral’s algorithms will try to keep the price as close to that target as possible.
To launch tCPE campaigns, you need to:
— set up event transmission from your MMP to Mintegral;
— add these events directly in the source interface.

If the app is completely new and no events have been recorded in the MMP yet, you will not be able to launch tCPE right away. In this case, you first need to launch a CPI campaign, get the first 1–5 events, and wait until they are passed to Mintegral. After that, the source will allow you to launch optimization for the selected event.

You can add events in Mintegral through the following path:
User Acquisition → Delivery Settings → Manage Event → Add
When creating an event, you will need to fill in several fields:
Package Name — enter the App Bundle of your app.
Event Name — the event name must fully match the event name in your MMP, for example af_purchase or af_registration. Event naming is individual and depends on the setup of each specific app.

Mintegral Event — here, you need to match the event with its corresponding meaning in Mintegral. For example:
— af_purchase → Game → Purchase
— af_registration → Game → Register

Event Definition — this field can be filled in at your discretion and is not required for optimization to work correctly.
Each event is added to Mintegral separately. After you add an event, the source will send it for review. Moderation usually takes up to 24 hours.

You will be able to create a tCPE campaign only after the selected event receives the Review Passed status. This means that Mintegral has successfully received and processed the event and can now use it to optimize ad campaigns.
Adding creatives
You can add creatives in Mintegral in two ways: during the fourth step of offer creation or in advance through the Manage Creative section.

Before uploading, we recommend checking the file formats and sizes. Detailed technical requirements for creatives are available in the official Mintegral documentation.

Click Upload Creatives, then upload the required creatives, select the appropriate formats, and enter the name of the creative group. After saving, all uploaded assets will be available for use when creating ad campaigns.

The most effective ad formats in Mintegral today are:
— Video + Image End Card — a video creative with a final static screen;
— Video + Playable — a video with the option to move into an interactive format;
— Playable — a full interactive creative that allows the user to test the product before installing it.
After uploading the creatives, click Submit.

Important: after creating the offer, you need to link the created creative group to it. To do this, open the created group using the Edit button and select the required offer in the Apply in Offer field.

Please note that creatives are sent for moderation only after they are linked to an offer. Until then, Mintegral will not start the review process.
Creating an offer (ad campaign)
After the app has been added, the events have been set up, and they have received the Review Passed status, you can move on to creating the ad campaign.

In Mintegral terminology, the app is created as a Campaign, while the actual ad campaign is called an Offer.
To create an offer, click Create Offer and proceed to setting up the launch parameters.
In the Related Campaign field, select the app for which you are creating the ad campaign. This links the Offer to the previously added Campaign, meaning the specific app that will be promoted in Mintegral.

Next, choose the Bid Goal.
CPI — optimization for installs. You set a bid per install, and spend is charged for each install at the specified bid.
Target CPE — optimization for a selected event. You set the target event cost, spend is based on impressions, and the algorithm aims to keep the average event cost close to the target.
Target ROAS — optimization for return on ad spend. You set the target ROAS, and the algorithm looks for users who are most likely to deliver the required return on ad spend.

After choosing the strategy, specify:
— Offer Name — the name of your ad campaign;
— Schedule — the ad delivery schedule and campaign period.
At the second step, select the countries and cities where your ads will be shown.

This is also where you configure the main campaign targeting settings. If needed, open the Advanced Targeting section to access additional audience and delivery settings.
At the third step, you need to set the bid and the daily campaign budget.

In our example, we are creating a tCPE offer, so we set the desired event cost at $20.
In the Event Name field, select the event that the algorithm should optimize for. It will appear in the list only after you add the event in Mintegral and it passes review. More details are covered in Chapter 3 — Manage Events.

At this stage, you also set the daily campaign budget. In our example, it is $500 per day.
At the fourth step, you need to link the previously uploaded creatives to the offer or add new ones.

Before uploading, we recommend checking Mintegral’s technical requirements:
Mintegral technical requirements
Using the Add Existing Creative Set button, you can link a creative set that you previously uploaded to the account.
After that, click Create Offer to complete the campaign creation process.

All created advertising campaigns will appear in the Offer List tab, where you can later manage their settings, budgets, and analytics.
Tracking links
After saving the offer, a window may appear asking you to set up tracking. In this case, click Yes, set it up now and proceed to the integration setup.

Important: if you plan to work through app rental, we recommend contacting our team in advance — in this case, additional tracking link setup will be required.

At the next step, select your MMP, for example AppsFlyer, and enter the required tracking links:
Impression URL — the link used to pass impressions;
Click URL — the link used to pass clicks.

After that, you can proceed to the final integration setup and campaign launch.
These links need to be taken from your MMP. For example, in AppsFlyer, they can be found in the Attribution Link tab inside the integration settings.
In AppsFlyer, enable In-App Event Postbacks and select the events that will be passed to Mintegral. This step is required for Target CPE and Target ROAS campaigns.

It is better to pass as many events as possible — this will help the algorithms learn faster. In our example, registrations and purchases are passed.
Additionally, in the Permissions section, you can enable Ad Network Permissions.

This step is optional, but it may be useful in case of technical issues. If necessary, Mintegral support will be able to independently verify whether the integration is configured correctly and whether traffic and events are being transmitted properly.
After that, return to the Mintegral dashboard.

For a standard setup via AppsFlyer, we recommend keeping the default settings in this section, as shown in the screenshot:
Need To Test Click URL — select No;
Is Async — select No.
Then click Save to save the tracking settings.
Below, verify that the tracking setup is working correctly. To do this, generate a test link, open it on a test device, install the app, and complete the target in-app action.

You will need to enter the device’s GAID for the test.
How to find the GAID on Android:
  • Open Settings on your phone.
  • Go to Google.
  • Select Ads.
  • Your advertising identifier — Advertising ID (GAID) — will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

It is a string of letters and numbers, for example:
440a71da-1e8e-4c6d-a266-7b9f343d7354

Click Get Test Link to generate a test link for verifying the integration.
Open the link on the test device, install the app, and complete the target in-app action.
If the integration is configured correctly, the tracking link will display the status Test Result: Success. This means that Mintegral has successfully received both the installation and the conversion event, confirming that tracking is working correctly.
The setup is now complete, and everything is ready for the campaign launch.
To start the campaign, go to the Offer List tab, find the offer you created, and change its status to Active.
Analytics
The main campaign performance data can be monitored in several sections of the Mintegral dashboard.

Performance Monitor — provides the main campaign statistics, including spend, installs, events, and other key performance metrics.
App ID — the identifier of the app in which your creative was displayed. This information can be used for blacklist management and ad inventory optimization.
If a particular App ID is consuming a significant share of the budget but is not generating registrations or purchases, provided these events are being sent from AppsFlyer, it may be worth adding this traffic source to the Blacklist.
Event Monitor — provides detailed statistics on in-app events.
Creative Monitor — provides detailed creative-level performance data, helping you evaluate individual ad assets and make informed optimization decisions.
General Recommendations for Launching Ads on Mintegral
We have compiled several recommendations that can help make your campaign launch more stable and reach profitable performance faster.

  • If your main objective is to reduce the cost per target action, prioritize Target CPE campaigns.
  • If user quality, average order value, and traffic revenue matter alongside CPA, it is better to test Target ROAS or Target CPE campaigns.
  • The most effective formats on Mintegral currently include:
  • Video + Image End Card
  • Video + Playable
  • Playable
  • It is recommended to use between 3 and 5 video creatives within a single creative group. This helps the algorithms identify effective combinations faster and distribute traffic more efficiently.
  • In practice, vertical videos often deliver stronger engagement and conversion results.
  • During campaign delivery, regularly analyze App IDs and build a blacklist. This is one of the safest and most effective ways to optimize ad inventory.
  • For most campaigns, it is recommended to keep placements limited to mobile devices and add tablets to the blacklist.
  • If you are working through app rental infrastructure, contact our team in advance. In this case, the tracking link structure will need to be adjusted, and the integration must be configured for the specific launch setup.
Conclusion
Mintegral is one of the most promising in-app traffic sources of recent years. It supports both traditional CPI campaigns and optimization for in-app events and ROAS. With properly configured tracking, events, and creatives, the platform can deliver stable volume and strong campaign economics.
